The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated at the Cathedral each year on Pentecost Sunday, "the Feast of the Holy Spirit." Adult candidates from throughout the Diocese of Baton Rouge will be confirmed by Bishop Michael Duca, assisted by Bishop emeritus Robert Muench, in a special ceremony at the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday, June 9.
