On Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 10 am, Bishop Michael Duca will be here at the Cathedral to ordain six men as Permanent Deacons for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.

Those to be ordained are: Alec Campbell, Christopher Landry, William Messenger, Ehren Oschwald, Mark Reynaud and Gabriel Rico.

While attendance at the ordination will be limited due to the Covid-10 pandemic crisis and the "social distancing" this calls for, everyone is invited to watch the ordination on CatholicLife Television!

Please pray for many more vocations to the holy priesthood, the permanent diaconate, religious life and full-time lay ministry in our Church, and especially within our own beloved Diocese of Baton Rouge!
