02.12.2025: St. Joseph Cathedral invites everyone to join parishioners and friends for a Mardi-Gras Gumbo Potluck Lunch this Sunday. And reminds parishioners that 4pm Saturday Mass is cancelled the 22nd and March 1 during the parades.
01.30.2025: St. Joseph Cathedral wil celebrate the final holiday of the Christmas season with the 'Feast of the Presentation of the Lord' this weekend, Febryary 1 and 2, 2025. Fr Bani will bless the candles used in our historic church throughout the year, and parishioners are invited to bring your candles from home to receive a special blessing at mass.

01.08.2025: St. Joseph Cathedral, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:30 am. Visitation begins at 8 am. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery
09.10.2024: The offices of St. Joseph's Cathedral will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, September 11 and 12, to remain safe and secure due to the threat of Hurricane Francine.
03.11.2024: The blessing of the St. Joseph Altar will be performed at noon mass on Tuesday, March 19. The ceremony will be followed with a traditional St. Joseph Day meal in the community center.
