Children and Granchildren (and their parents and grandparents of course!) are invited to a Picnic!

On Sunday, May 16, at the Pavilion at Magnolia Mound (2161 Nicholson Drive), from 12 noon to around 2:00 pm or so, we're trying something NEW! A family-style picnic, especially for the young people of our Parish.

The food will be complimentary: famous hamburgers from Dearman's, along with chips, cookies, and water and soft drinks. The Red River Bank Ice Cream Truck will also be on hand serving free cool treats!

There will be entertainment for the children: a Face Painter, Games and More

You and your family can bring your own games and playthings as well, there's lots of Green Space for everyone. We also recommend bringing your lawn chairs or maybe a blanket for lounging about in the grass!

BUT: please register, because there are attendance restrictions imposed in this Covid-time by the City-Parish. Just email office@cathedralbr.org with the number of people in your household who are attending, by Tuesday, May 12!

Oh, and the 10:30 am Mass beforehand on May 16 will be a special Children's Mass celebrated by Father Paul Counce. Come to Mass and then head on down the road to Magnolia Mound!
